Happy Birthday Gabe

Happy Birthday Gabe January 25, 2009
I can't believe he is 3 years old. I asked Gabe what kind of cake he wanted and he said a red cake. I also asked what he wanted to eat for dinner and he said red cake. When I made his cake I put red food coloring in the frosting and it turned pink not red. I panicked and thought well I guess I will ask him. He said, "that's not red" So I happen to have some red sprinkles and I emptied that bottle on to that cake and Gabe couldn't be happier. A few days ago Gabe kept saying, "I love you mom" and then when it was time for bed he asked, "what does I love you mean?" I told him it's when you care for someone or you like someone a lot and he said, " I like you mom." He opened his 1st present and then we went to church and came home and told him that he could open his other one after church. Unannounced he came home and took the present into his room and opened it and came out with a big smile on his face and a tractor in his hand.

We are so blessed!!!

On December 28, 2008 this is our Excursion yes it was me, my first accident at age 30 I wish I wouldn't have to say that but it happened. We were on our way home from Burley and Jared drove to Pocatello and then we picked up Linzy's car and I stepped into the drivers sit and there was a patch of ice and I slid and started fish tailing all over the road and couldn't stay on the road and it rolled once and landed on it's side. It was so scary. Jared was driving in Linzy's car behind us. When the car finally stopped, Jared came right over and asked if everyone was okay. Jared was really shook up as you can imagine he saw the whole thing and couldn't do anything to protect us. I just have to stay hearing each one of my boys screaming never sounded so good. Gabe and Tyce were in their car seats so they were fine, but Conner was in the very back and he didn't have his seatbelt on. He said, "Mom it felt like I went for a airplane ride." Bless his little heart, I am so glad he was okay. He had two big bumps on his head and scratches on his back. Since the accident I haven't had to tell him to put on his seat belt. Gabe had a little wip lash and it affected his upper back. Tyce had little wip lash and I also had alot of wip lash. We moved over into Linzy's car and when we were sitting in there, I was pretty upset as you can imagine. Gabe said, "Mom you will be happy soon. Everythings going to be okay, so sweet." Then he got really quiet and a few minutes later Gabe said, "Mom I just thought of a great idea, we can take the van to church." It was so cute. So we are so blessed. We were trying to make it home for church so I really believe Heavenly Father protected us because we were keeping the commandments. As far as the excursion go's we think it is totalled because of the hood damage. Oh well, it can be replaced...

Gabe will be 3 years old in 9 days. He seems like he is 5 because he has the vocabulary of a 5 year old. He is our little ray of sunshine as you can see from the picture, he keeps us laughing. He is sensitive and if anyone in the family is sad he senses it and is concerned. When Gabe is talking to Tyson he will say, " Hi Tyce it's me Gabe. He is always giving me hugs and kisses, I love it. He thinks everything is funny and has started to laugh a lot lately.

Conner and Gabe got this little 4-wheeler for Christmas. Conner loves it, Gabe still doesn't realize that they are sharing it he wants a blue one for his birthday.

I had to try it and it was quite fun as you can see I am a little to big for it. I is a minature one.

Snow Cave

This last saturday Jared and Conner built a snow cave together and had tons of fun. Jared came in and said, "This is when I wish I had my little brother to help me dig because Conner was not quite big enough yet to help.The snow was really hard.

Tyson

I took this picture December 29, 2008 Tyson is so cute isn't he. He is 7 months. He is doing really well. He just started not wanting me to hold him and put him to sleep, how sad. He is sitting up and rocks back and forth like he is going to start crawling any day. He is always moving and is a very happy baby. He loves, loves attention, he will stare you down and waits patiently until you give him attention and then smiles and smiles. He is such a joy to have in our family.

Conner's Birthday

December 27, 2008 I can't believe Conner is 6 years old. It sure has flown by. Conner is a great kindergartner. He is very independent and is good to his little brothers. He knows how to make peanut butter sandwhiches, chicken noodle soup, popcorn, eggos, toast. He is a big helper to his mom and loves to help out in the kitchen. He has a lot of energy,(wish I could keep up.) Recently on Sunday Conner wanted to watch a movie "The little Rascals" and I told him he needed to watch something churchy and he said, "But mom their is a boy in this movie and he wears church clothes through the whole movie can we watch it." I told him nice try.
